If you are having issues getting the manage rooms/create rooms working in the client please post here giving as much details as you can as to what happens when you try.

Please also make sure you have already upgraded to the newest version of IMVU.

If it still does not work then please try clearing your cache.

If neither of those works then post here with details...

i have been uninstall and reinstall three times...i have upgrade too 462.18 and i still keep getting this message: Don't worry, you can still manage and create Chat Rooms on IMVU, but instead of on our website, we've moved everything to the 3D Chat Experience! In order to continue to manage or create new Chat Rooms, you will need to update to the latest version. Download the latest version of IMVU here. Enjoy!

where is 3D chat experience is at i cant find it and i need to fix my rooms description and add mods to my rooms and i help with this problems

sign on to the client... go to Chat rooms... your will find the "Manage" tab there.

Tried downloading the new client and it keeps saying "download failed" so I downloaded something and now its really slow & won't load anything. What should I do? I tried re stalling/uninstalling and nothing works. So I cant even use the client now.

I used that stupid manage room feature(I thought, seriously, all I'm doing is changing my room's name. How could IMVU *** that up? Obviously that was my mistake.) Now every time I go into my room and try to do ANYTHING all of my tabs exit and I get some lame ass error message. Can't even just sit there without everything crashing. Sodding grand.

When I click manage chat rooms tab in the client, it takes forever to load. It is really bad form of imvu to disable the website public rooms before they have properly tested the client public room creation tab.

Same exact thing happens to me I wait for it to load and the stupid thing always crashes me even after i re downloaded. Just put it back on the website and give us both options if imvu is too lazy to test it BEFORE opening it up to the public to patch. Even after upgrading you should still keep Both options open. My friend just gifted me all the sets for my newest room and I cant even open it cause of this mess. Even before you made it permanent it never worked. I thought it was a great idea until it crashed me...

As I reported about this earlier, I had hoped clearing the cache would correct the problem. Well, it did .. for TWO log-ins. Now, I am crashing again (see my error code on my locked thread). I have not even been able to be in-client long enough to build up any substantial cache amount so IT IS NOT A CACHE PROBLEM.

Please, as implored by others, please RE-INSTATE THE WEB VERSION OF ROOM MANIPULATION. This way clearly DOES NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY YET.

I have updated the newest version ,being my rooms are no longer for public view;without having to do so. Subsequently ,I had to delete all since I consistently received the same message ,that being , to click on link provided,"to update, which I have already attempted twice,leaving me only to delete all .Its not functioning properly.Even with new update ,I am still getting the same message at present,and unable to create ,just to inform you!~thank you ~many blessings..AW

What have i tried every single one of the release versions in the 462 range. Click on the manage rooms it either doesn't load or it crashes the client been through each version more than once.

Want as much detail as possible ok here goes the second i click on the manage tab poof the client crashes nlo warning no error messages. Which strangely is pretty much what people have been saying all week.

I have notified staff of the crashing and linked them to this thread.

Thank you all for posting the info you have.

So far at least one person claims that clearing their cache fixed the issues for them.


Did anyone have any issues with the client before they tried managing their rooms???

Not me everything was fine until I open that tab to manage the rooms. All of it is fine but that for me at least anyway. The client seems to be crashing a bit more but I just passed it off as lagging out. I did have friends complaining the other day though that they would crash and not even realize it and that it was happening more often.

I have tried clearing my cashe, uninstalling, I even uninstalled windows so everything was fresh and updated, STILL crashes me, and now I cant even add, remove, change or edit my public rooms.. This is So f***** splendid! They need to fix this ASAP! I used alot of money on this chat, and I am sure alot of others have too.. How on earth can they remove the website feature before the chat client is even working!

i updated the lastest version as well,publ;ic rooms were working fine for me yesterday and then today everytime i click manage it would close out,have an error message like the ones previous posted and then say it appears imvu crash,notify imvu,and then it would say would you like to restart imvu?this is getting annoying and aggravating,and everytime something is fixed their is usally another update involved and yet another problem at hand V.V
