This is from the movie Gentlemen Prefer Blondes with Jane Russel. Marilyn wore it when she performed the iconic number "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend" from which Madonna derived her "Material Girl" video and dress. the only thing missing from this outfit is the quarter-million-dollar diamond necklace MM wore during the performance. I'm having my favorite hair texturist redo a Marylin wig for me to go with this. I heart her so much! This outfit is the most faithful reproduction of anything Marylin wore that I have found on IMVU. Most of the others have tried to do the white dresses she wore in the 7 Year Itch in the famous subway grate scene which caused her and Joe Dimaggio to split, or the white one she wore at JFK's birthday bash.
